Introduced to most by the movie The Matrix, the Pince-Nez style of glasses uses no frame, but instead holds the lenses and nose pads using only a bridge.

Our first design put the bridge through the skin between the eyes, attaching the lenses with brackets and the nose pads with epoxy.

Neither bone nor cartilege is touched by the piercing and the small weight of the lenses is placed on the nose pads, like normal glasses.

Assembly - First the aluminum bracket (C) would be attached to the lens by using a tiny generic screw (B).
Once both brackets were attached to lenses, one lense would be screwed into the stainless steel barbell
with a screw matching the barbell thread size (A). After which, the barbell would be inserted into the
piercing and the remaining bracket would be screwed into place.
